D'CAF coffee is regular specialty-grade coffee that has had its caffeine removed using the supercritical CO₂ process to <0.1 by dry weight, while keeping all the natural flavour compounds and antioxidants intact. No — every D’CAF pack contains freshly roasted coffee, either as whole beans or ground coffee (depending on your selection).
